The tools that switch on browser control and computer use can now show a shared description. That description adds guidance for requests about files or folders on your computer when device tools are available. This is controlled by a remote switch that falls back to off when the server sends nothing.

Two other remote switches also appear:

  • The "Show status in terminal tab" toggle in /config is still behind its own switch, which also falls back to off
  • A third switch, also falling back to off, controls an internal relay behaviour
Why

These are features shipped in the code but left off by default, so they matter only once they are switched on.
