What

The transcript is the saved record of a session. When Claude Code writes one of Claude's replies into it, the entry now includes extra details worked out from the reply's content. Your own messages are now saved through a different step as well.

Why

The shape of saved transcripts, or of output given to programs built on Claude Code, may differ from before.
