What

When you paste text, Claude Code can record a reference to it. There is now a second way of recording that reference. It skips the usual minimum-length check, so short pastes are included, and it marks each reference as covering only a slash command's name. A slash command is a command you type starting with /.

Why

This looks connected to how slash commands inside pasted text are handled, though what it changes in practice is not yet visible.
