What

Claude Code uses a prompt to write short summaries of about 20 words. That prompt used to say: Use “I” if necessary to describe decisions the main agent made. The main agent is the Claude you are talking to directly, as opposed to helper agents it starts. That line has been removed.

Why

Summaries written from this prompt may read in a more neutral voice instead of as Claude speaking about itself.
