What

Sometimes Claude Code sends a tool call (a request to run an action) to a remote host, and the reply cannot be verified. The message Claude receives in that case has changed. It used to say to do the rest of the task that this container can do. It now says to do the rest of the task without the named host. Both versions still tell Claude to report to you what it could not verify.

Claude Code now also records a usage-data event when a remote host sends a request for an operation or kind that is not on the allowed list. The event includes a scrambled (hashed) form of the name rather than the name itself.

Why

This changes the text Claude sees after a remote failure, which can change how it carries on. The new logging gives a record of malformed or unexpected requests from remote hosts.
