Claude Code can be limited to essential network traffic only, and it also has a data-residency check that can block requests. Requests for the public plugin directory catalog that are sent without any login are now exempt from both blocks. A plugin is an add-on that extends Claude Code. All other requests are blocked or allowed as before.
