What
Claude Code shows short tips while you work. A new one reads "Want a side agent watching your back while Claude works? Turn on You should know:" and points you to the /plugin command, which manages plugins (add-ons that extend Claude Code). A side agent is a second helper that runs alongside the main one.
The tip appears only when all of these are true:
The You should know plugin is present
The plugin is not on by default
You have not already turned it on or off yourself
It waits at least 10 sessions between showings and appears at most 3 times.
Why
This is a new visible nudge toward a side-agent plugin. Once you have chosen to turn the plugin on or off, the tip stops appearing.
