What

Some plugins run their hooks (small pieces of code that run at set moments) inside a separate worker process. When that worker crashes, the background report Claude Code sends now includes a cause and a likely culprit, with supporting detail. A new report about changes to the worker's mods has been added, and "turned off" is now one of the recorded reasons a worker can fail.

Why

Problems with plugin hooks become easier to diagnose.
