What
Background tasks, work Claude Code runs alongside your conversation, can be marked as blocked when they are waiting for something. Before, every new turn reset them to active and cleared what they were waiting for. Now a blocked task that is still waiting keeps its blocked status and the reason.
Claude Code also now keeps track of the output a background task has produced so far.
