Programmes built on the SDK (the software kit that lets other programs drive Claude Code) talk to Claude Code with control requests, which are short instructions sent while it runs. send_task_message has been added to the list that already holds interrupt and stop_task. A placeholder that does nothing yet has also been added for session writers.
