What
Claude Code now fills in defaults on messages that submit a prompt:
- waiting defaults to off
- the origin, which records where the prompt came from, defaults to the session's own origin
- when the message is flagged as coming from the user, that origin is marked as the user's
Why
This prepares for prompts to be submitted from outside the terminal, such as through the SDK, with a record of where each one came from.
