What
You can send Claude a message while it is still working on its reply. Claude Code now has a helper that wraps such a message in an explanation, starting "This is how Claude Code surfaces messages the user sends mid-turn".
Why
The wrapper tells the model to deal with messages you send mid-reply. It may not be used by default.
