What

memoryOps records memory operations made during a turn, meaning reads or writes to Claude Code's memory. This release removes it from two places:

  • Transcript messages no longer get a memoryOps field. The code that filtered out memory operations from tool calls that failed and attached the rest is gone.
  • The routine that adds up statistics for each turn no longer merges memoryOps together.

Why

Anything that read memory-operation notes from messages or from turn statistics may no longer find them.
