Claude Code sometimes checks whether a GitHub repository is public or private.
- When that lookup returns "unverified", the repository can now be marked as denied by policy and recorded as
policy_denied. Before, the result was simply stored. - A new
policyDeniedLoggedrecord makes sure such a denial is logged only once per host and repository.
Separately, the Chrome native host, the small helper that lets the Claude browser extension talk to Claude Code, now includes computer_name in its get_status reply. Control characters and a trailing .local are removed from the name. Before, the reply held only native_host_version.
Why
A repository whose visibility cannot be confirmed may now be treated as blocked by your organization's policy rather than allowed through. The browser extension can now show which machine it is connected to.
