Claude Code now logs an event and records how long it waits at startup for two things:

  • the refreshed list of available models
  • policy settings for MCP servers, which are outside programs Claude Code connects to for extra tools
Why

This is for diagnostics only and changes nothing about how Claude Code behaves.
