Claude Code still reads the two remote settings tengu_ccr_orphan_restore_wake and tengu_ccr_orphan_restore_wake_shells. Both fall back to on unless they are switched off remotely. Only the code around them was reorganized.
These settings decide whether a resumed remote session wakes up for background agents and shells that were restored with it. A background agent is a helper Claude runs separately from the main conversation.
