What
When you sign in through your browser, the browser sends a reply back to Claude Code on your machine. Once Claude Code has the sign-in code, any later reply gets a plain page that reads "Sign-in is already finishing. You can close this window."
Why
If your browser sends the reply twice, you see this message instead of a confusing error.
