What
On Linux, Claude Code has a new way of listing a folder's contents that is careful about what it opens. It refuses to follow symbolic links, which are shortcuts pointing to another location, and reports a clear error when:
- a link appears in the path
- the path is not written in its standard form
- a read rule denies access to the folder
- the workspace has moved
Very large listings are capped and marked as cut short.
