What
When Claude delivers a file to you, it gets a short report back. That report used to be a plain list of what was delivered. It now also:
says when the chat is showing a converted copy of an image or file, and that the file at its original path is unchanged
tells Claude to refer to a file by its name, never as above or below
File paths in the report are also cleaned up before Claude sees them.
Why
This changes what Claude reads after sending a file. It should keep Claude from assuming the original was altered when you only see a converted copy, and from pointing at files by where they sit on screen.
