When you click in the terminal (not just move the mouse) or the terminal gains or loses focus, Claude Code now finishes any pending screen updates before handling it. Key presses already worked this way. Losing focus while dragging to select text still clears the selection.
Why
Clicks and focus changes are handled against what is actually on screen, rather than against a view that has not yet caught up.
