What
After each turn, Claude Code can show a note with how long the turn took and what background work is still pending. It now hides that note when the pending background agents and workflows are the same, non-zero numbers as in the previous note. A background agent is a helper Claude runs on the side. It still shows the note when a budget limit applies or brief messages are hidden. The count starts over when you type something, and a fuller view skips this hiding.
Why
While background agents keep running, you no longer get a string of near-identical notes cluttering the conversation.
