What
Claude Code shows a row in the conversation when a background task (work running while you keep chatting) reports in. Two things changed in those rows:
A row carrying an event from a monitor now shows as a short headline and description, cut to fit your terminal width, with the full text shown when you expand it.
A finished task's row now adds "sent a message (ctrl+o)" or "sent N messages (ctrl+o)".
Why
Monitor output takes up less room in the conversation, and you can see at a glance that a task sent messages and press ctrl+o to see them.
