Plugin install prompt ignores answers typed too quickly

Some plugins are installed by running a command supplied by their marketplace, and Claude Code asks "Run this command now?" before running it. Answers that arrive within 250 milliseconds of the question are now thrown away:

  • You see "That answer arrived too quickly after the question to count. Please answer again."
  • Before asking again, it shows the details once more: which command, from which marketplace, and whether it changed since you accepted it.
  • After more than 5 early answers, it treats the answer as no.
Why

Keys you typed ahead, or text you pasted, can no longer approve a shell command by accident.
