A plugin marketplace is a catalogue of plugins that Claude Code can install from. /plugin marketplace add refuses a marketplace whose name is already registered from a different source. The error it raises now records one of two kinds, along with the name:
same_address: the source you gave points at the same place as the one already registered
name_taken: a different marketplace already uses that name
Why
The two cases need different fixes. The first is a harmless repeat of an earlier add. The second is a real clash that needs a different name or the removal of the other marketplace.
