What
In a cloud session, some messages are held back before they are saved for good. For message types the server lists in its rules, Claude Code now sends a temporary copy to anyone watching the session live, while the lasting copy is still held. This happens only under the server's hold rules and while no report has been made that nobody is watching. Messages of those types are also no longer set aside as plain text entries.
