What
Claude Code normally works out where its temporary folder is once and then reuses that answer. That applies to its own temporary folder and to the one it gives the programs it starts. When Claude Code is launched in diskless mode, it now skips the saved answer and works the path out again every time.
Why
This only matters when Claude Code is built into another program or runs in diskless mode, where the temporary location can change while it runs.
