What
Claude Code normally requires Claude to read a file before editing it. When a remote client, such as a cloud or web client, stages a file into the session over Remote Control, Claude Code now marks that file as already read once it is saved to its output path. Previously staging did not count as a read.
Why
This removes a needless failure where Claude tried to edit a freshly uploaded file and was told to read it first.
