Remotely switchable one-step and custom-worded admin requests for more usage

What

On Team and Enterprise plans, a member who hits a usage limit may have to ask an admin for more. A new remote setting, tengu_tidy_lemon, can change how that request works. Anthropic sends this setting from its servers rather than shipping it in a release. The setting can hold one of two modes. If no value is sent, it falls back to empty, and neither new path is used.

• one_step mode: in /rate-limit-options, choosing "Ask your admin for more usage" files the request straight from the menu, with no browser and no confirm dialog.
  • The menu checks the request status in advance and shows "Sending request to your admin…" while sending.
  • It shows the result as a greyed-out option, for example "Request sent to your admin to increase your usage credit limit."
  • If a request is already pending, the option is shown greyed out with the reason.
  • The option order changes as well.
  • To avoid sending by accident, the request goes only when the option was chosen with Enter after being highlighted for a short time, the advance check has finished, and nothing was typed or pasted into the menu.
  • It never applies in a remote session or when the overage scope is group_pool, and a few other states are excluded.
• confirm mode: the "Request usage credits from your admin" dialog, reached through /extra-usage, takes its title, body, note and button labels from optional title, body, note, send and cancel strings. In the body, {ask} is replaced with the requested action. An empty body or note hides that line. Before, the wording was fixed: "Request usage credits from your admin", "Send request" and "Cancel".

Why

If this is switched on for you, asking an admin for more usage can take one keypress from the rate-limit menu instead of a trip through a browser. The confirm dialog's wording can also change without a new Claude Code release.
