The git diff commands Claude Code runs and reads now include --no-color. A git setting such as color.diff=always can no longer mix colour codes, invisible control characters for coloured text, into the diff output Claude Code reads.
Why
If your git config forces colour, diffs Claude Code reads should no longer come out garbled or unreadable.
