Background memory consolidation (autoDream) is a job that tidies up Claude's saved memories while you work. New handling has been added to it:
Skipping a run when the memory items cannot be read, and trying again next time.
Skipping when a record is newer.
Warning notices for these cases.
Settling items and handing back a lock afterwards.
The code this depends on is switched off in this build, so none of it can run. The one part in use is that memory updates from consolidation now go through a shared step instead of being added directly.
