What
Claude Code updates its terminal display by redrawing only the parts that changed. It now keeps count of how many rows each update has scrolled out of view. When a change lands on rows that are no longer visible, it redraws the whole display instead of patching it. Previously the decision was based only on the screen and window heights. Handling of wide characters, such as many Asian scripts and some emoji, was also tightened.
