What
A slash command is an instruction you type starting with /. If you type one while Claude Code is still loading the modules that can add extra slash commands, the check that decides how to handle your queued command now takes that loading into account. This applies both to commands Claude Code does not know yet and to known commands that are not prompt-style commands.
Why
A slash command that comes from one of those modules is less likely to be treated as something else just because you typed it before the module finished registering it.
