The model consent dialog appears when you pick or reach a model that needs your agreement or a different plan. When you choose its upgrade option, Claude Code now runs /upgrade for you, which opens the upgrade page to switch to a higher plan tier. This happens in two places:
the model picker's consent dialog
the dialog shown in the middle of a session
Before, choosing that option only showed a message. /upgrade itself is available only to claude.ai accounts.
Why
If you hit a model your plan doesn't cover, you can get to the upgrade page in one step.
