What
Some Claude Code processes have no storage to save settings to. If a setting is changed in one of these, Claude Code now logs a warning that the change ran in a diskless process and is kept in memory only.
Why
Before, such a change could disappear later without any sign. The warning makes it clear the change was not saved.
