What
In auto mode, a classifier (a separate check) reviews Claude's actions against your permission rules. Those rules now pass through a size limit before they reach the check. When rules are dropped to fit, Claude Code records how many allow, deny and ask rules were dropped.
Why
If you have a lot of permission rules, the auto mode check may not see all of them.
