In the terminal interface, pressing an arrow key with no modifier keys held can now move focus to the nearest item you can select in that direction. This happens only when the item that currently has focus does not use that key itself. Before, only Tab and Shift+Tab moved focus. Each move logs tengu_spatial_focus_nav.
Why
You can move around screens with several controls using the arrow keys instead of tabbing through every item in order.
