A remote session runs Claude Code in a cloud environment set up for a particular code repository. When creating one fails because the chosen environment and the repository do not match, you now get a written explanation instead of the raw HTTP error from the server. The explanation takes one of two forms:
The repository needs its own environment.
The environment only accepts the repository it is set up for.
Why
The message tells you which side of the mismatch to fix, instead of leaving you to decode an error code.
