When Claude Code describes a remote machine, it now includes the sync root, the folder kept in sync, shortened with ~ for the home folder, next to the working directory.
A file_path on a remote machine is now worked out using that machine's own path rules instead of the local Unix-style rules. A path on a different Windows drive now gives no result.
Why
Paths on a Windows remote machine are no longer read as if they were on the local machine, and Claude is told where syncing happens there.
