What
Claude Code has a step-by-step screen for switching which provider it uses to reach the model. When the wizard is done, pressing Enter now restarts Claude Code with the new provider, and the screen shows "Restarting Claude Code…" while that happens. Pressing Enter twice does not start a second restart.
Why
You can finish switching providers from the wizard itself without restarting by hand.
