What
A plugin is an add-on that extends Claude Code, and it is installed from a marketplace (a catalogue of plugins). When Claude Code checks the plugins you have enabled, it now does three things:
- looks up each installed plugin
- puts the plugin's name into a standard form
- matches that name and its marketplace against the enabled entries
An enabled entry that cannot be matched this way is still reported as "plugin not installed".
Why
The check now compares enabled plugins against the identity of what is actually installed.
