What
A Stop hook is a command you set up to run when Claude is about to finish its turn. It can block Claude from stopping. Claude Code now counts how many times a Stop hook has blocked, and has a new high-priority warning, named "stop-hook-block-cap", for when that count reaches a limit.
Why
If a Stop hook keeps stopping Claude from finishing, you get a visible warning instead of the loop just carrying on.
