When Claude Code reads a folder listing from git, entries whose names are not valid UTF-8 text, or that read the same as another entry, are now set aside in a left-out list. Before, one such name made the whole read fail. Folder listings built earlier are also reused when still available.
Why
One awkward filename no longer blocks the rest of the folder from being read.
