Claude Code v2.1.17

This version was built approximately 2 hours after v2.1.16 (19:02:14Z → 21:01:06Z on 2026-01-22), suggesting it may address an internal build issue or deployment concern that required a rapid follow-up release. The 99.9% structural similarity and lack of any functional code changes indicate this was likely a build pipeline fix or internal tooling update rather than a feature or bug fix release.

Evidence

The only changes detected were:

  • Version constant: VERSION: "2.1.16" → VERSION: "2.1.17" at multiple locations (line 1545 in old, line 3772 in new)
  • Build timestamp: BUILD_TIME: "2026-01-22T19:02:14Z" → BUILD_TIME: "2026-01-22T21:01:06Z"
  • Import statement reorganization (16 removed, 16 added) - purely internal bundler changes with no functional impact

Strings lifted out of the shipped bundle, so the claim above can be checked against them.
