Claude Code now tracks per-file edit contributions by computing the magnitude of changes, enabling better understanding of how much Claude contributed to each file.

claudeContributionbased on the diff between old and new content for each edit - Tracks both regular edits and file deletions
- Logs attribution events:
"Attribution: Tracked N chars for path/to/file" - Uses content hashing to detect unchanged files
- Supports bulk edit tracking for batch operations
