Default true. When on, memory store sync first tries to list a store's entries through the backend's metadata stream (exportMetadata), falling back to the paged list call when that fails. Off, or with CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_MEMORY_STREAM_LIST set, every listing uses the paged list.
Not Anthropic's. Written by Claude Opus 5.5 from reading the v2.1.286 bundle, and it can be wrong.
