It has been in the build since v2.1.138, including the newest one read.
Boolean fallback for whether an agent-team teammate needs plan approval, read only when the session has neither a teammate identity nor a dynamic team context (either of those supplies planModeRequired instead). When required, ExitPlanMode fails without a plan file and sends a plan_approval_request to the team lead, and the inbox poller ignores plan approval responses from anyone but the team lead.
Not Anthropic's. Written by Claude Opus 5.5 from reading the v2.1.286 bundle, and it can be wrong.
