An in-process [agent team](/docs/en/agent-teams.md) teammate has the task-tracking tools when your session does. A [split-pane](/docs/en/agent-teams.md#choose-a-display-mode) teammate is a separate Claude Code process that [inherits](/docs/en/agent-teams.md#permissions) your `--tools` list and deny rules, not `--allowedTools`, so check what you set:
