37* A `managedMcpServers` entry accepts `headersHelperArgs` (remote and web search entries) or `envHelperArgs` (local entries): arguments for its helper script. Its helpers, `oauth.clientSecretHelper` included, also get the entry's `name` in `CLAUDE_CODE_MCP_SERVER_NAME`. Earlier releases ignore the lists and run the helper with no arguments.
38* `allowedPluginMarketplaces`: moving an entry to a new source keeps its installed plugins when the new entry's `expectedName`, set in the same change, is the old marketplace's name. Plugins that the marketplace takes from another repository are still uninstalled.
39* `allowedWorkspaceFolders` on SSH hosts: an entry is left out, and allows nothing, unless it is a full path for that host with no `..` (`~/work`, not `work`; on Windows `C:\work`, not `\work`). A symbolic link listed inside another listed folder is left out too: list the folder it points to.
40* `allowedWorkspaceFolders`: a read-only entry whose `%VAR%` is unset or unsupported on a device (any `%VAR%` on an SSH host) now makes the folder holding the variable read-only (`~/Work` for `~/Work/%X%/a`; every allowed folder if the entry starts with it) instead of being ignored. A variable that only another operating system sets (`%APPDATA%` on macOS or on an SSH host) still leaves the entry without effect there.
41* `disableAutoUpdates`: when a newer version is installed while Claude is open, the app now offers to relaunch into it (macOS, Linux, and the MSIX package on Windows).
