# Webhooks

## Create Organization Webhook Endpoint

**POST** `/v1/organizations/webhooks`

Create an organization webhook endpoint.

An organization webhook endpoint belongs to the organization rather than to one of its workspaces. An organization can have at most 32 organization
webhook endpoints, enabled or disabled.

The response includes the endpoint's signing secret. No read returns it, so store
it when you receive it.

Every request must include the beta header `anthropic-beta: webhooks-2026-10-07`. A request without it returns `404`, exactly as if this API did not exist. Anthropic turns organization webhook endpoints on for each organization; until yours is on, requests also return `404`. Organization webhook endpoints are in beta and are not available to organizations with HIPAA readiness enabled.

### Headers

- `"anthropic-version": optional string`

The version of the Claude API you want to use.

Read more about versioning and our version history [here](https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/api/versioning?sdk_languages=http).

## List Organization Webhook Endpoints

**GET** `/v1/organizations/webhooks`

List the organization's webhook endpoints.

An organization webhook endpoint belongs to the organization rather than to one of its workspaces. The list does not include webhook endpoints that
belong to a workspace.

### Query parameters

- `after_id: optional string`

ID of the object to use as a cursor for pagination. When provided, returns the page of results immediately after this object.

- `before_id: optional string`

ID of a webhook endpoint to use as a cursor. Returns the first `limit` endpoints that come before it in list order, not the `limit` endpoints just before it.

- `limit: optional number`

Number of items to return per page, up to `100`. The default, `0`, means `20`.

  default: 0, minimum: 0, maximum: 100

- `order: optional "asc" or "desc"`

Sort order by `created_at`. Defaults to `desc`, newest first.

  - `"asc"`

  - `"desc"`

### Headers

- `"anthropic-version": optional string`

The version of the Claude API you want to use.

# List Organization Webhook Endpoints

**GET** `/v1/organizations/webhooks`

List the organization's webhook endpoints.

An organization webhook endpoint belongs to the organization rather than to one of its workspaces. The list does not include webhook endpoints that
belong to a workspace.

## Query parameters

  - `"asc"`

# Update Organization Webhook Endpoint

**POST** `/v1/organizations/webhooks/{webhook_endpoint_id}`

Update an organization webhook endpoint. Only the fields you send are changed.

## Path parameters

- `webhook_endpoint_id: string`

  ID of the webhook endpoint.

  maxLength: 2048

## Headers

- `"anthropic-version": optional string`

The version of the Claude API you want to use.

Read more about versioning and our version history [here](https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/api/versioning?sdk_languages=http).

- `"anthropic-beta": optional array of AnthropicBeta`

This endpoint is in beta: requests must send `webhooks-2026-10-07` in this header.

## Body parameters

- `description: optional string`

  Notes about the endpoint.

- `enabled_events: optional array of "user_profile.enforcement_action_opened" or "user_profile.enforcement_action_resolved"`

The event types to deliver to the endpoint. Replaces the whole set; an empty list leaves it unchanged.

  - `"user_profile.enforcement_action_opened"`

  - `"user_profile.enforcement_action_resolved"`

- `name: optional string`

A short label for the endpoint.

- `state: optional "disabled" or "enabled"`

`disabled` stops deliveries. `enabled` resumes them and clears `disabled_reason`. Events that happen while the endpoint is disabled are never delivered.

  - `"disabled"`

  - `"enabled"`

- `url: optional string`

The HTTPS URL that deliveries are sent to.

  minLength: 1

## Returns

- `BetaOrganizationWebhookEndpoint object`

A webhook endpoint that belongs to the organization rather than to one of
  its workspaces.

1546
1547**POST** `/v1/organizations/workspaces/{workspace_id}/rate_limits/{rate_limit_id}`
1548
1549Set or clear rate-limit overrides for one rate-limit group in a workspace.
1550
1551Only the limiter types named in `limits` change: an integer `value` sets
1552that type's override and `null` clears it. Types not named keep their
1553current value. A value above the organization's own limit is stored, but
1554the organization limit still applies, so the lower of the two is
1555enforced.

1704
1705 - `limits: array of BetaWorkspaceRateLimitValue`
1706
1707 The workspace's limiter values for this group. By default only the limiter types with a workspace-level override are listed. With `include_inherited` set to `true`, the limiter types the workspace inherits from the organization are listed too, each marked by `source`.
1708
1709 - `type: string`
1710
1711 The limiter type (for example, `requests_per_minute` or `input_tokens_per_minute`).

1734
1735 default: organization
1736
1737 - `value: number`
1738
1739 The workspace's value for this limiter type: the workspace-level override when `source.type` is `workspace`, otherwise the organization's value.
1740
1741 - `models: array of string or null`
1742
1743 Model names this entry's limits apply to, including aliases. `null` when `group_type` is not `"model_group"`.

1750
1751 ID of the Workspace this entry applies to.
1752
1753 - `group_type: "batch" or "files" or "model_group" or 3 more`
1754
1755 **Deprecated**: Use `group.type` instead. `group_type` is still returned and always equals `group.type`.
1756
1757 Deprecated: use `group.type` instead. The kind of rate-limit group this entry represents. `model_group` entries apply to a family of models (listed in `models`); other values apply to an API-surface category and have `models` set to `null`. Always equal to `group.type`.
1758
1759 - `"batch"`
1760
1761 - `"files"`
1762
1763 - `"model_group"`

279
280**POST** `/v1/organizations/workspaces/{workspace_id}/rate_limits/{rate_limit_id}`
281
282Set or clear rate-limit overrides for one rate-limit group in a workspace.

287the organization limit still applies, so the lower of the two is
288enforced.
289

# Set Workspace Rate Limits

**POST** `/v1/organizations/workspaces/{workspace_id}/rate_limits/{rate_limit_id}`

Set or clear rate-limit overrides for one rate-limit group in a workspace.

Only the limiter types named in `limits` change: an integer `value` sets
that type's override and `null` clears it. Types not named keep their
current value. A value above the organization's own limit is stored, but
the organization limit still applies, so the lower of the two is
enforced.

Returns the targeted group's entry with this request applied, in the shape
`GET /v1/organizations/workspaces/{workspace_id}/rate_limits` returns.
Changes take effect within about an hour.

## Path parameters
