DisclaimerUnofficial, and not affiliated with Anthropic. Nearly all of this is read straight out of what ships: npm bundles, captured prompts, published docs. Anthropic's own notes go in verbatim, marked as theirs. The rest is my reading, and every entry carries the strings behind it. If one looks wrong, vote it down and say why.

git-subdir Plugin Source

What

Plugins can now be sourced from a subdirectory within a larger repository (monorepo support).

Details
  • Uses sparse checkout (--filter=tree:0) to minimize bandwidth for monorepo plugins
  • Only the specified subdirectory is materialized; the rest of the repo is not downloaded
  • Requires git version 2.25 or later for cone mode support
  • Falls back to unshallow fetch if sparse-checkout fails
Evidence

git-subdir support (search for "git-subdir", "Subdirectory within the repo containing the plugin")

Strings lifted out of the shipped bundle, so the claim above can be checked against them.
